Quick Gamer: Texans defense survives Dolphins, offense presumably also played in game
The Texans moved extremely close to clinching the AFC South despite playing without an offense.

Let’s start with the good news: The Texans defense came back energized from their bye week and locked up the Dolphins. The Dolphins managed just 3.6 yards per play, Tua Tagovailoa was sacked three times, and the Texans also managed to intercept him three times. Derek Stingley Jr. wound up with two of the interceptions, and both of them were absolute master-class level plays:
And this game-clincher that he essentially stole out of Tyreek Hill’s hands:
Time and time again, the defense took care of this game. They set up a short-field field goal with time expiring in the second half, and set up a short-field touchdown with a strip-sack of Tagovailoa that was recovered at the Miami 30. It is the kind of performance you’d like to see against an offensive unit that had been mostly underwhelming this season, if perhaps not as terrible as seasonal rankings put it near because of Tagovailoa’s brain injury.
