MNF Recap(s): Kirk Cousins loses Falcons but Ridder loses to Falcons, Caleb Williams shows why the Bears keep him on screen duty

Bears 12 at Vikings 30

If you decided, for some reason, that you’d rather watch Desmond Ridder work, here is a brief synposis of Caleb Williams’ day as shown by one play:

Spam that Football Move button, Mr. Williams. He was shown essentially pratfalling on the bench afterwards in exhaustion. How he plays quarterback right now is exhausting, so it makes sense. Williams was pressured on 15 of 33 dropbacks by a still-fierce Vikings defense, and that is with a heavy dose of attacking the flats early in the game. The real issue, though, is that when Williams did have enough time to get through a few reads, he just kept holding the ball and waiting for NCAA-open rather than NFL-open.
