Sometimes when you throw two NFL teams together, the forces that drive them lead to some weird games. The team that can’t run all season finds the right opponent matchup. Health finally gets right for a unit and it changes a defense.
Not in this game, this game was exactly what you’d expect because the Bengals bring everybody, even this putrid Cowboys offense, kicking and screaming into a shootout.
The Cowboys came out blazing with their first first-drive touchdown in eight games, hitting CeeDee Lamb on a fourth-and-1 go in the red zone where he was left wide open for the score. Lamb then did this, as we’ve come to expect of the Cincinnati defense:
